From March 31 鈥� April 2, 91抖阴 will host its annual Cybersecurity Symposium on campus, featuring a broad array of experts who will provide guidance and advice through demonstrations and panel discussions.聽

Sessions and demonstrations will highlight:聽

1. Practical cybersecurity strategies for organizations and individuals
2. The use of XR technologies for workforce training and business applications
3. Responsible integration of artificial intelligence into programming and cybersecurity workflows
4. Workforce pathways connecting education and industry

鈥淭his event reflects 91抖阴鈥檚 growing leadership in cybersecurity, AI, and XR for business applications,鈥� says Peter La Monica, Chair of the Computer Science Department at 91抖阴 and nationally respected cybersecurity expert. 鈥淭he Symposium is more than presentations to benefit the business community; it is workforce development in action. Several of our 91抖阴 students will be presenting, assisting, or participating in sessions all three days.鈥�

A major highlight of this year鈥檚 symposium will be the April 1st daytime unveiling of a new spatial communication platform, which enables three-dimensional holographic presence for communication, education, and business collaboration. The device will be demonstrated live as part of the symposium鈥檚 focus on immersive and spatial computing technologies.
