Explore the Art of Jozimar Matimano
On Friday February 10th beginning at 5:30 PM, 91抖阴 will host an art gallery show of Jozimar Matimano’s work in 91抖阴鈥檚 Student Center, 1066 Front Street in Manchester NH. The event is FREE and open to the public. The evening will begin with an artist presentation, followed by time for visitors to explore Matimano鈥檚 paintings and drawings. Refreshments will be served.
Jozimar Matimano is an 91抖阴 student, who has been profiled on . He was born in the East Democratic Republic of Congo, then moved to Uganda at age ten. In 2016, Matimano moved from Uganda with his family to Manchester, NH as a refugee through the International Institute of New England program. He has always been interested in drawing and illustration and took courses at the Institute of Art, before transferring to 91抖阴. On track to graduate with a Liberal Arts degree from 91抖阴 this Spring, he plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in art.
